Terms, in plain English

What StillWith is right now

StillWith is in early access. The core works — sealing messages, voice and video, scheduled delivery, the trusted-contact safeguard — and we test it constantly. But it is young software from a small team. Until we declare general availability, please don’t make StillWith the only copy of something irreplaceable. Keep your own copies too. We’d rather lose a little polish than have you lose a memory.

Your content is yours

You own everything you seal. We claim no rights to it — we couldn’t read it anyway. You can export or delete it anytime.

What you agree to

Passphrases and keys

Your sealing passphrase never leaves your device. If it’s lost, sealed content cannot be recovered by anyone — that’s the price of real encryption, and we accept no liability for content locked by a forgotten passphrase or a lost delivery link.

Pricing

Early access is free. At launch, active use will be a simple subscription (video as a premium option), and locked future deliveries will be funded up front. We’ll give clear notice before anything costs money, and what you sealed for free stays yours.

The legal essentials

StillWith is provided “as is” during early access, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us (during free early access: zero). These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. If a dispute arises, talk to us first — hello@stillwith.org — we’re reasonable people building this for our own families too.

Changes

We’ll update these terms as StillWith grows (a real lawyer will formalize them before paid launch). Material changes will be announced by email to account holders.
